Eligibility

  • Educational qualification:
  • Executive / Legislative / Committee / Protocol Officer:
  • Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR 2 year post Graduate Diploma in any discipline recognized by a University / All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) OR LLB degree from a recognized University OR Qualified Cost Accountant / Chartered Accountant / Company Secretary OR Bachelor’s degree any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 3 years.

Research / Reference Officer:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR 2 year post Graduate Diploma in any discipline recognized by a University / All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) OR LLB degree from a recognized University OR Bachelor’s degree any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 3 years.

Age limit: Not more than 27 years

Exam pattern & Syllabus

  • Preliminary Examination:
  • The Examination will consist of 150 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying 150 marks, to be answered in two hours. The paper will contain 50 multiple choice objective type questions (50 marks) on General Knowledge including Indian polity, Law and governance, modern history, culture, economy, geography, role of science and technology in development of india and current events of national and international importance; 50 questions (50 marks) on General English including usages, vocabulary corrections, synonyms, antonyms, idiomatic pharases, etc…
  • The marks secured by the candidates in the preliminary examination will not be accounted for while preparing final selection list.

Main Examination:

  • Paper I – General Studies: 300 Marks & 3 hours
  • Paper II – English Essay, Precis, Comprehension and Grammar: 300 Marks & 3 hours
  • Paper III – Any two subjects to be selected from the 14 optional subjects. Eash subject will have two papers: 300 Marks & 3 hours
  • Paper IV – Any two subjects to be selected from the 14 optional subjects. Eash subject will have two papers: 300 Marks & 3 hours
  • Paper V – Any two subjects to be selected from the 14 optional subjects. Eash subject will have two papers: 300 Marks & 3 hours
  • Paper VI – Any two subjects to be selected from the 14 optional subjects. Eash subject will have two papers: 300 Marks & 3 hours

Personal Interview: 150 Marks
